Nopar & Associates is focused on providing high-quality legal service to businesses throughout the Bay Area. We are an AV Preeminent-rated law firm* that focuses on all aspects of business and real estate law, with attorneys experienced in business law, corporate law, real estate law, and litigation.

The Palo Alto commercial real estate lawyers at Nopar & Associates help business and commercial clients, from start-up companies to established small and medium sized businesses reach their business goals through the purchase, sale or lease of a property and legal representation to resolve commercial real estate disputes.

Commercial Real Estate Transactions

At Nopar & Associates, we work closely with our commercial real estate clients to execute business decisions that accomplish their ultimate income-producing or cost-savings goals.

Our attorneys can represent your interests in negotiating and drafting of contracts for the purchase and sale of properties, in negotiating and drafting lease agreements, in seeking zoning variances, and in resolving title problems.

We have substantial experience representing lessors as well as lessees in commercial leasing transactions involving office buildings, shopping centers, strip malls and warehouse spaces. Our experience encompasses not only issues respecting capital expenditures, operating and maintenance expenses and other commonly encountered issues in commercial leases, but rights of first refusal and options to extend.

The firm’s managing attorney, Alan S. Nopar, is a licensed California real estate broker and is highly experienced in negotiating and drafting commercial leases as well as commercial real estate purchase and sale agreements. Alan is a Northern California Super Lawyer, is rated 10.0 on both Avvo and Justia, and has been rated AV Preeminent for over 25 consecutive years.

Residential Real Estate Transactions

The firm also has extensive experience in handling residential real estate transactions, and has successfully represented sellers as well as buyers in residential transactions ranging from the mid six figures to well over $10 million. Our residential real estate practice includes advising on issues regarding easements, rights of way and potential liabilities, as well as disclosure issues and title issues. We also provide advice and counsel regarding how to structure a transaction to result in maximum benefit to the client, and we are highly skilled in negotiating and preparing transaction documents. For those buyers who for the sake of privacy desire to keep their identities hidden from public view, we are able to form an LLC without revealing in any public filing the name(s) of the owner(s), and are able to have the property titled solely in the name of the LLC without any publicly- accessible record that would reveal the identity(ies) of the owner(s) of the LLC.
